Show Kanarraville by Carma Williams By CARMA WILLIAMS Record Correspondent Spencer and Herma Truman spent a week in Green River, Wy., visiting their son and daughter-in-law, and their two girls. Mark and LeAnn Truman, Gwen Davis, Michael and Rosalee Williams, Fern Bauer and daughter, Nancy and Susan Leonard and Verna Davis attended a steak supper for all the employees em-ployees and partners of the Valley View Medical Center Thursday at Cedar City. Verl Beckstead and Glen Geraghty left Thursday for the mountains of Manti to participate in the elk hunt. Ronald and Joan Williams spent several days in Spanish Fork at the annual ram sale. Ronald took rams for the College of Southern Utah farm where he is the manager. Terry Sproat from the Kwajalaue Islands arrived here Thursday to join his family Anne and children who have been here with her parents, Rert and Roberta Eastman, for two weeks. Ronald and Deborah Blake and children, Joshua, Anisa and Lucas, from Santa Clara, and Jeffrey and Ellen Williams and daughter, Liberty, from Ivins spent Saturday and Sunday here with their parents, Chester and Carma Williams. Tony and Judy Gubler and son, Rick, Leon Reeves and Mark Pollock traveled to St. George Friday evening to see the football game between Dixie High and Cedar High. Jeff, Amy and Wendy Beatty from Cedar City spent the weekend here at the home of Jackie Dixon. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Beatty. Mr. Thomas Smith spent a week in Wyoming where he went to attend funeral services of a friend. Darlene Gentry and Diana and children from St. George spent the afternoon with their friend, Lorraine Cornelius, Cor-nelius, and her family. Mauna Williams, Darlene Carter and children and Mackay Winget from Cedar City spent the afternoon visiting with Bevan and Doris Williams and Gwen Davis. Fred and Marilyn Halliday and fr.ends from Garden Grove, Calif., spent Saturday and Sunday here with Marilyn's parents, James and Thelma. They came to enjoy the beautiful fall coloring in the mountains. moun-tains. Travis Batty from Las Vegas spent the weekend here with his parents, Willard and Alva Batty. Bert and Roberta Eastman took their children and Grandchildren, Grand-children, Anne and Terry Sproat and children, to Las Vegas Monday to catch the plane for Texas to visit Terry's parents. Dewight ' Lindquist from Ely, Nev., spent the weekend here with his friends, Charlie and Marsha Leeder and family. Joe Leeder spent a couple of days last week in Las Vegas getting a check up with his doctor. Verl and Fonda Beckstead a and Glen and Velma Geraghty took birthday dinner to their sister-in-law, Geri Morrell. Their niece, Karen Olson, and her son joined with them to enjoy the dinner. E.L. McDwitt and Wes Powell left Monday for Manti area to enjoy the elk hunt. |
