Show Fenton's Drug Store Stolen property recovered A portion of the property taken in a recent burglary of Fenton Drugstore has been recovered by Parowan police officers. 1 A hunting knife, necklace and .portions of a knife and jewelrey display case were found in the house and back yard of a residence at 89 I S. 100 W. According to Police Chief Wayne Townsend, the burglar apparently broke into the residence after leaving Fenton's Drug Store. The owners of the home were out of town at the time, and the suspect spent the night in the house. Townsend said that evidence left in the house showed that the thief apparently knew the owners of the house and had been there before. Townsend also reported that more of the stolen property was found earlier this week in the Little League Field. Police are still investigating in-vestigating the robbery and will release no information in-formation regarding possible suspects and leads. In an unrelated incident, in-cident, over $1,000 in personal property was stolen from a garage belonging to Gene Parry. Parry reported that a burglar broke into his garage on Sept. 20 and stole a saddle valued at $500, a bridle worth $50 and a chainsaw costing $500. The police are still investigating the crime. |
