The project, due to be com pleted in the summer of 1981, has been delayed for several months. Estimated cost is over $600,000. Hatchery renovation underway the Scott Avenue property, sold for $215,000, have been earmarked to help finance the Panguitch Hatchery renovation. The hatchery, which was constructed in 1921!, has been deteriorating during recent years. The last major repairs occurred oc-curred in 17. Renovation was necessary to avoid closure. Walls on raceways have crumbled, and water cannot be controlled con-trolled for the raising of fish. A lot of patching has taken place over the past live years to hold the raceways together. The hatchery building, constucted in l!M6, is still in good condition and will not be included in the renovation project. The first phase of the renovation will include complete razing of the raceways and ponds. Alter reconstruction, Panguitch Hatchery will have about the same production capacity as in previous yearsproducing about 50,000 pounds of fish.
