Show Homecoming scheduled Using a theme ol "Reflections," the 1980 Homecoming Week celebration Oct. 6-11 at Brigham Young University has a wide variety of activities being Homecoming Spectacular Spec-tacular at 8 p.m. in the Marriott Center; and dances at various loca tions at 8:30 p.m. Homecoming Day begins with a giganatic parade from 9 to 11 a.m. from 900 East Center to Unive rsity Avenue and north to the Smith Fieldhouse parking lot; the foo tball game against the University of Wyoming at 1:30 p.m. in Cougar Stadium; alumni receptio.n at 4:30 p.m. at the Alumni House; a reunion of all former BYU looi'ball players at 4:30 p.m. at the Alumni House; a ,a reunion of all former iBYU football players a ut 4:30 p.m. in 357 Wilkins. on Center; the Homecom ing Spectacular Spec-tacular at V p.m. at the Marriott Center; and dances at 8:;30 p.m. planned for students and alumni. Homecoming Week activities begin Oct. 6 with Cougar Day, featuring noon pep rally; Oct. 7-a brown bag concert at noon featuring the Little Lettermen from Orem, a smash hit trio at the recent freshman concert; and the third Rocky Mountain Band Competion at 6:45 p.m. at Cougar Stadium. Oct. 8 will be International-United States Day, with students dressing appropriately representing their countries or states; and the Homecoming Concert, Con-cert, featuring popular flutist Tim Weisberg at 7:30 in the Smith Fieldhouse. Oct. 9 is Frontier Day. Students are encouraged to wear western clothing and participate in noon activities such as a greased pig chase and a cow chip hurling contest. A gigantic bonfire and pep rally at 8 p.m. at the old rodeo grounds will feature coaches and players, cheerleaders and song leaders, and the Cougar Band. Blue and White Day is Oct. 10 featuring a chalk talk at 12: 15 p.m. at the Wilkinson Center ballroom; the |
