Show Beaux Arts Beaux Arts club met Wednesday, Murch 3 at the home of Clara Price. Terrl Ann Flint, mental health specialist with the Department of Social Services in Vernal, was guest speaker for the evening. The topic of her discussion was stress and how to cope with it. She discussed how "boom town" conditions such as we are currently cur-rently experiencing in Vernul, affect our lives. Terri presented information on the major changes we are seeing, the stresses that are caused because of the changes, plus other stresses most individuals in-dividuals experience at some time in their lives. Positive ways of identifying the stresses and how to deal with them were discussed. Terri concluded her remarks by outlining creative methods for preventing the build-up of stress in our busy lives. A lemon dessert was served to those who were present. Guests included Barbara Jolley of Provo, Camie Price, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Price and Lisa Jolley. |
