Show Beta Nu Beta Nu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held their regular bi-monthly meeting Monday night, March 1 In the basement of the St. James Catholic Church. Nine members and five guests attended at-tended the meeting. The guests who were in attendance were Darlene Ryan, Denise Nealy, Rosemary Pike, Cathy Parker and Sheryl McCulloch. Vice president Glenda Smarr conducted con-ducted the business meeting. Susan Messenger reported that the chapter has been given the all-clear to hold a Country Fair on the library lawn Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Any persons or groups who would like to rent a booth to display and sell their items should contact Glenda Smarr at Kuty's Casuals, 789-0013. A program on exercise was given by Laurie Swalley and Angie MotHer-shead. MotHer-shead. Laurie gave pointers on how each lady can find a program that she will personally enjoy and Angie taught the group two aerobic dances. Following the program, a birthday celebration was held for Martha McCoy. Mc-Coy. The second meeting in March will be held at Lynn Mason's home on Monday, March 15. |
