Arthur Robinson was CEU's leading scorer, rebounder and intercepter. Robinson scored 22 points, pulled down 11 rebounds, nabbed 8 steals and garnered 6 assists. CEU had 12 rebounds, 14 steals, 27 assists and 19 turnovers in the game. "We were kind of tight at the beginning, but we started getting on the boards in the second half and played better defense. Our defense got us going. We stopped trading basket for basket, and started going more inside and that loosened us up for outside shots, plus I started coming out of my slump in the first half and my shots started falling," stated Arthur Robinson. Robinson fired in 11 of the 22 points in the final 10:30 of the game. Kevin Miller put in three field goals in a row late in the first half, which enabled the Eagles to erase a six-point lead by Sheridan, Wyoming. "I had a cramp in my stomach before the game. It must have been something I ate," remarked Kevin Miller. "I was forcing some shots. It was the sensation of coming back that got me going." CEU will compete in an alumni game, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Price and will host Pima Community College on November 29. |
