A get-well get-well card was signed by the dancers and mailed to Relva Serrano who had returned home from' the Duchesne County Hospital. This being the time for giving thanks, one of our senior citizens wrote a poem, which is appropriate for these holidays, something for everyone to keep in mind. ham; in thkkk old pkoi'll There is nothing in this world That I would rather be Than be strong and stable Like the sturdy old Oak tree. Just hang in there old people Though your eyes may fill with tears And count the many blessings You have had down through the years. Use mind and bone and muscle To do things you can do And the good old Lord that put you here will be well pleased with you. You must take life day by day And don't be in despair For you have memories of the golden years And life was good to bear. Now that you're old and feeble Your life must carry on Just think of the days ahead of you And not the ones that are gone. Now hang in there old people Do the best that you can do Because behind the darkest cloud There's silver shining through.
