Show Tridell I Lorno rricKee I James Harvey celebrates 85th birthday James B. Harvey was honored Saturday, Nov. 10 on his 85th birthday. His seven children with their spouses took the Harveys to the Aspen Cove in Vernal for a special birthday dinner. He was presented a picture frame containing the many pictures of his grandsons who had filled missions with the dates and where they had filled their missions. Those celebrating the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Jav Harvey, Clearfield; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Harvey, Sunset; Mr. and Mrs. Orson Harvey, Morgan; Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Harvey, Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Rowley Larson, Kearns; Mr; and Mrs. Farrell Simmons and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wallace of Tridell. The Harveys and Mr. and Mrs. Larson spent the weekend visiting relatives in Tridell. Several people from Tridell attended a Thanksgiving dinner at the Golden Age Center in Vernal Monday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. James Harvey, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harvey, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glines, Davis Morrill, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ahlborn, Velora Merrell, Vida and Thelma McKee. Deon Merkley Richards and son, Jerry, and Mrs. Leena Rogers and two children from Mantua visited Saturday and Sunday at the Clyde Merkley home. Elva Harvey underwent surgery at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Tuesday. She received a new pacemaker. She returned home Saturday. Her daughter Velma brought her home. Sheila Harvey is now in Provo staying with Velma Lyman and family. |
