City provides wreck service for old cars The Bureau of Land Management has reported an increasing problem with old cars being be-ing dumped on their lands. This problem is noticable especially in the areas surrounding the Vernal Landfill. Shane Luck, Vernal city ci-ty manager reminds Vernal Ver-nal residents that the city has a contract with CAPP Wrecking Yard, 1440 E. 135 S. to haul off any old cars in Vernal. "The purpose of the contract with the wreck yard is to keep people from dumping old cars on public land," Luck said. For further inforamtion call city hall at 789-2255.
