Show 1 :AMILY ENJOYS skiing at local ski resort under ski program of-ered of-ered bv Uintah School District School district offers ski classes to area A ski program for area residents will again be sponsored by the Uintah School District during the 1980 ski season. The program is designed to provide instruction and recreation skiing for all skiers, beginning or advanced, between the ages of 6 and 75. The program in-4 dudes six Saturdays of instruction or skiing, starting on Jan. 12, 1980 and will continue each Saturday to Feb. 16. Transportation to and from the instruction in-struction areas will be provided for $68 or $56 for transportation without ski classes. Lift passes will be $5 for an all day pass on all lifts at Park West. The bus will load at the Vernal Jr. High parking lot at 5 a.m. and will leave immediately alter loading. Lessons will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and individualized in-dividualized skiing will go from 12 noon to3::i0p.m.The bus will begin boarding for the return trip at 3:30 p.m. and leave at 4 p.m., arriving in Vernal at 7 p.m. Registration for the program will take place at the Uintah School District Office, 635 West 200 South, Vernal, tx'ginning Dec. 3 at 8 a.m. Ski passes will be sold on a first come, first serve basis and all registration forms, parent permission, and payment must be completed at the time of registration. There will be no waiting list this year, when buses are filled, no more tickets will be sold. Parent's signature is necessary for all skiers under the age of 18. Students may register for college credit or adult high school credit for the ski instruction.
