Show WOMAN IS SENTENCED ON ASSAULT CHARGE Valeria Ruga, arrested several weeks ago for alleged attack upon her husband with a revolver and a knife, pleaded guilty yesterday before .William Keger, justice of the peace, to a charge of assault as-sault and battery and was sentenced to pay a tine of $35. The Rugas have a contested divorce suit pending in the Third district court. Thomas Dunyane, convicted of violation viola-tion of the speed law in the driving of an automobile down State street on May 21, was sentenced by Justice Reger to pay a tine of J50. Eighteen days in the county jail was the sentence imposed in the case of Clifford Clif-ford Leonard, alias J. V. Leonard, who had previously pleaded guilty to issuance of a check without sufficient funds in the bank. The costs, $4.55, were also assessed as-sessed against him. Pleading guilty to possession of whisky, jr. Warner was sentenced to pay a line of Sr0 or to serve thirty days in the county jail. |
