Show CDMPETENGY IWI BEMG 10 FOUGHT Estate of $300,000 Involved in Hearing of William Lindsay at Blackf oot. Special to The Tribune. HLACKFOOT, Idaho, May 22. An inquiry in-quiry into the competency of William Lindsay of Idaho Falls and Seattle. Wash., is In progress here before Probate Pro-bate Judge J. E. Good and a jury of twelve men. In lfil7 Mr. Lindsay was found competent compe-tent in the probate court of Bonneville county, this state, which decree was appealed ap-pealed to the district court in 1018 and Incompetency found. V. K. Turtle of Idaho Falls was appointed guardian', but soon resigned, at which time V. E. Collins Col-lins of Idaho Falls was made guardian. The present hearing to restore competency compe-tency is transferred to Bingham county by change of venu. The value of the estate involved Is estimated es-timated at $300,000, and the attorneys interested in-terested are A. c. Hough of the law firm of .Mardin, Waddell & Hough of Seattle, assisted by J. II. Peterson and Thomas Coffm of Poratello, who represent Mr. Lindsay in his application. Attorneys W. P. Hansen of Idaho Falls and YV. P. Chambers of Seattle represent the guardian, w. K. Collins, opposing the restoration. |
