Show WAR SERVICE CLUB IS STILL AT WORK Special to Tho Tribune. V POCATEXLO, Idaho, May 22. With $11,000 still renvainlhj; in the fund, the I Oregon Short Line War Service club tlg-, tlg-, urea that it has a great deal of work yet to perform. This club was organized 1 shortly after the country entered the war, for the purpose of looking after railroad men In the service and for their families at home during their absence. Good work was accomplished by the club during the war period, and now that a large number of the boys are home, Lhd elun fig-ur'.-a on launching' out in some oilier form of beneficial work. The club is still caring for numerous families along ihe system, and aid also has been extended ex-tended to returned men. |
