BIG RIFLE SHOOT BEGINS AUGUST 25 "WASHINGTON, May 22. The national marksmanship matches to be held at the Caldwell, N, J., range will beu-in on A u-gust u-gust 25, at the conclusion of the matches of the National Rifle Association of America, the navy department announced today. The arms used will be the United States rifle, model of 1!03, and any .45-caliber .45-caliber pistol or revolver having a barrel not more than ten inches long. The schedule of events provides both for Individual and team competition. The ride matches will include ni pid tire at 200 yards and slow fire at 5' to and 1000 yards, and the ids to! compel if ion, both slow and rapid tire, at twenty-live yards.
