Show SALVATION ARMY ANNOUNCES DRIVE NEW YORK, May 22. Commander Evangeline Booth of the Salvation Army, announced tonight that all funds obtained in the organization's home service drive will be used to expand Salvation Army facilities and strengthen strength-en its personnel for a practical effort to "nail the great unrest," which is sweeping the country in the wake of the war. Salvaging of saloons to be rnn on the "boozeless plan" as clubs for working men is hut an incident of the general plan, which contemplates giving giv-ing quick substantial aid to families found to be suffering because of evictions, evic-tions, hunger and idleuess. |
