Show 'U' HOPES FOR HONOR IN SATURDAY'S MEET "Hard work" has been the order of the University of Utah track men during the last few days, preparatory to the state track meet, to be held at the Brigham Young university at Provo among the TT. of U., U. A.'C. and B. Y. U. Saturday. Satur-day. Although Utah has entered into only one meet this season to its defeat Coach Fitzpatrlek has every hope of making mak-ing a good showing Saturday at Provo. He is concentrating attention on sprints and long-distance runs. Tho strong point of the Aggies will be in the sprints with their fast man, Peterson, , while the Provo hopes rest mainly in the jumps. Utah will bid in the heavy arts, with Johnson, Shafsky, IIowclls, Stevenson and others. Here is a tentative list of the men Coach Fitzpatrick will take on the journey jour-ney Saturday morning: Stewart, Wing, Reeves. Howells, Johnson, F. Anderson, J. Anderson, Frcebairn, Ure, Frecse, Barnes and Walker. |
