Show OUTLOOK FOB LAMBING SEASON M1G Practically No Losses Reported Re-ported During Month Just Passed. Lambing in Utah and surrounding territory is progressing under exceptionally excep-tionally favorable conditions, according accord-ing to information received by A. S. Erickson, agent of the B. Harris Wool company, from sheepmen and buyers. The weather is exceptionally appropriate, appro-priate, lr. Erickson states, and practically practi-cally no' losses of importance have occurred oc-curred this month. Sales of wool clipped during April and May are drawing to a close, according ac-cording to advices received by Mr. Erickson, and good prices have been received re-ceived by the sheepmen. After t he lambing season is over more clipping will be done in the Utah corrals, it is expected. Sheepmen of Iron countv are desir- ous of establishing an annual ram sale to improve the breeding of their flocks, slates ( B. Stewart, secretary of the Utah Woolgrowers ' association. This sale will he conducted, it is believed, be-lieved, on the same plan as the one held in Salt Lake each August by the na- -tional association. Reports state that the run pes in western Wyoming and this state are in excellent condition. In t lie south the lack of rain is beginning be-ginning to be felt. The percentage of lambing has been good, says Mr. Stewart, Stew-art, and the outlook is promising. |
