Show ARTILLERY FILMED FOR UTAH PEOPLE The moving picture film of the One Hundred and Forty-fifth Field artillery, the old First Utah regiment, photographed photo-graphed some time ago at .Salt Lake, is to be shown at the larger towns and cities of the state following the end of its Wasington's birthday run at a local theater. The object in taking the pictures pic-tures was. as expressed in the film itself, it-self, "that the regiment might be photographed pho-tographed in its completeness as a j memorial to the fine spirit and the I practical patriotism of the manhood of I Utah." i Included in the incidents of the film are parades of the men on Main street, the leaving of the medical corps for i Camp Kearny. former United States Senator Thomas Kearns presenting the flag, guns in action, first aid work, the i Spanish-American w-ar veterans, anil scores of scenes depicting the daily life I of the men. Among the groups are ex-j ex-j cellent views of the officers, headed by I Colonel R. W. Young. |
