This is the observation observa-tion of the officers and members of the Weber County Farm bureau, who, during dur-ing the past week, have held meetings in almost every town of the eountv. Krom Mondav until today a schedule of meetings was carried out in the farming districts of the county. The farmers interested in sugarbeet growing, grow-ing, grain, livestock and poultry raising, rais-ing, attended the meetings and prm" i so 1 1 to increase their acreage as much as possible, .mall pieces of land along ditches and canals and unnecessary pastures, together with unbroken ground, will be planted to the crops which the nation needs. Special attention atten-tion will al-o be given to increasing poultry production. Everything pertaining per-taining to the farm in the wurk of conservation, was the theme of the meetings ' discussion. |
