Show "U" HOOPERS WINNERS OVER FORT DOUGLAS Tommy Fitzpatrick's University of Utah quintette took tho Fort Douglas team into camp yesterday for the second time this season, winning 46 to 22. The '"U" coach used practically his entire string of players. play-ers. Sam TJeal starred for the "TJ" boys in the number of baskets scored, but the whole siring of first-team players displayed dis-played class. Lieutenant Gibbons, playing play-ing his first contest for the soldier boys, led the floor in the number of points scored, caging the ball seven times. Smith, who. performed in such bewildering style last week, was bothered by an injured knee. Tho "U" boys displayed better condition condi-tion yesterday than in any previous contest, con-test, tut missed many shots for goals. The team is now In good condition, however, how-ever, to meet in the B. Y. C. in the opening open-ing game of the season in the intercollegiate intercolle-giate league or. Saturday.
