Kvidence adduced at St. Paul and information in-formation from other sources made it wise to do further work in Chicago, explained Mr. Heney. "I have been here since leaving leav-ing St. Paul and members of the commission commis-sion are in Washington. They left it to me to decide where to hold the next heaving. heav-ing. There will be further hearings: that is as definite as I can be at this time." Mr. Heney, asked as to a rumor that the appropriation of $i'50,0o0 for the investigation in-vestigation was running low, said that matter belonged to the commissioners and they had not said anything to him about it.
