A pretty home wedding of the week took place Monday at high noon at the home of Mrs. Scott P. Stewart when her sister. Miss Jetta Maiben. and Walter H. Needham were united in marriage, Bishop T. N. Taylor officiating. The bride was charm' ngly gowned In a traveling trav-eling dress of dark blue satin, with hat and gloves to match. A wedding breakfast break-fast was served to the immediate relatives rela-tives and close friends. The young couple ' will make Provo their home. The marriage of Miss Hilda Xoakes of Springville and Spafford X. Daniels, son of Mayor and Mrs. J. E. Daniels of provo, took place Wednesday in the Salt Iake temple. A family dinner was given the same evening at the Daniels residence in honor of the event. Forty guests were present. Miss Anna Booke was hostess to the Columbia Beehive group of the Second ward Tuesday evening. . The Misses Myrtle Stags and Faun Jones' entertained at a shower Thursday evening at the home of the former, in honor of Mrs. Oscar Christensen, a recent re-cent bride. The marriage of Miss Knell Coleman and Ross S. Bean took place Wednesday in the Salt Lake temple. The young couple left for a trip through Idaho. Wednesday, in the Salt Lake temple, the marriage of Miss Leona Bunnell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Bunnell of Lake View, and James A. Nutiall, also of Lake View, was solemnized. The First ward meeting house was the scene of a large farewell party Tuesday evening for Frank Nelson. Victor I.eitheson and Murphy Mur-phy Alexander, who left this week to join the army. Three hundred friend? and relatives of the boys were present. Mr. and Mrs. George Hales entertained Wednesday evening for their son, J. Howard Hales, who left Tuesday to report for duty at Fort Douglas. The Third ward gave a large party Thursday evening for eleven young men of Spanish Fork who have been called to serve their country. A musical programme pro-gramme was arranged for the occasion and refreshments were served. Before leaving the boys were each presented with a lovely token of remembrance from their Third ward friends. Miss Virgle Argyte of Lake Shore left Thursday for Beaver, where ehe will be principal of the school for this year. Mrs. J. Howard StilweU is spending a week in Salt Lake.
