Show EMN REVEALS 1 BOl-ffii PLANT Hoboken, N. J., Police Arrest Ar-rest German Fleeing From Wrecked Building. . HOUOXF.M, N. J., Sept. 8. What appeared ap-peared to he a fully equipped bomb-making bomb-making plant was disclosed to the police po-lice tonight when an explosion blew off the roof of a small building in Tfilrd street as two detectives were passing. A man who fled from the structure was seized by one of the officers, lie gave tile name of Kobert Lichenfeldt and his age as 5:1 years. He admitted he is of German birth. He said he was melting some gold in a crucible at a temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit and that when ho dropped another piece of gold into the crucible there was an explosion. This was a common occurrence, he protested. pro-tested. The man was paroled until Monday morning, when he will be arraigned. |
