Show POCATELLO CHOOSES ' NEW COUNCILMAN I POC.-WF.TXO, Idaho. Sept. 8. At the regular meeting of the city council held last night F. W. Titckerson was unani-! unani-! mously elected to succeed O. C. Bower - , i man, whose removal to another ward of the city from that to which he was elected automatically left his place i vacant. Contractor R. M. Barsden was given an j extension of time for carrying out his I V contracts for the laying of several miles ( .of pavement. The extension was granted for the reason that it has been necessary for Karsden to use all available men in the laying of new city pipe lines and water mains. The request of R. M. Polk & Co. of Salt Lake for a contract to supply sup-ply the city with the 1!MS directories was referred to the mayor with power to act. |
