V i . - f ;c-3 , ; ; - At a recent test of the ability of a Smith Form-a-tractor, held In Cedar City, Utah, the machine demonstrated Its power pow-er to such an extent that twenty-live were sold in a few days in that neighborhood. neigh-borhood. 1 The photo, herewith, shows the tractor j pulling two twelve-inch bottoms through : the hard sod in the center field of the fair grounds. The man in the center is A. ij. Nuckles, factory salesman, who was in charge of the demonstration. The man on the left Is N. H. Loy, agricul-; agricul-; tural expert, who is constantly employed by the Smith Motor Corporation to advise ad-vise with farmers and direct their efforts in cultivating their acres to the best advantage ad-vantage with Smith Form -a-tractors. At the right is shown L. D. Wallace, driver of the tractor, who was present in the capacity as an employee of Barney ffir-ensen, ffir-ensen, local distributer for the Smith Form -a-trucks and tractors. Fall plowing in the vicinity of Cedar City will be largely done by Smith tractors trac-tors this season. The tractor shown in the picture plowed up the hard center field of the fair grounds with apparent ease, moving majestically ma-jestically along at an average speed of three miles per hour. |
