Show TELLS OF SOLVING DOMESTIC PROBLEMS LOXDOX. Sept. S. Little domestic problems which worry the wife of the premier of England were disclosed by Mrs. Lloyd George in an address she delivered de-livered recently at the National Economv exhibition. She said: When we went to 11 Downing street, nine years ago. we found a big sculleiy there "without a window, not a gieam o;' light nor ventilation of any sort or kind. It took me some little time before I could persuade t he board of works to build ine a nice liti'e scullery. I did not rest till I got It. Now there is a nice little complete scullery, with a glass roof and a window win-dow whirh opens out into the purdn. Perhaps you would not believe me if I told vou that when Mr. Asqui th (formerly premier! rame to 10 Downing Down-ing sireet, nine years ago, there was not a single bathroom in the plaee. Put I think it lias improved a little since we have been there. |
