Since all men had been drenched by the rain and there was no strw for the ticks, a cold and nearly sleepless night was pawl. Reveille Was sounded at 6 in the morning, morn-ing, long after most of the men were up and getting warm. Kitchen duty for breakfast, the first real work to be done in camp, was performed by men from district No. 1, Salt Lake. liexperiAiced I cooks served a fair meal of oatmeal, hash, potatoes and coffee.
