Miss Marie Wagner of this city won the women's national indoor championship singles for the sixth time by defeating Miss Eleanor Goss in the final round, 6-3, 6-1 Boston, April 7. Jay Gould defended ms titie for the eleventh successive year at the Tennis and Racquet club against Joshua Crane in straight sets, 6-2. 6-0 D-3. Philadelphia, June 23. Miss Molla Bjur-stedt, Bjur-stedt, New Y'ork, twice winner of the national na-tional singles championship, captured the final match of the Women's National Tennis tournament, defeating Miss Marion Ma-rion Vanderhoef, 4-6. 6-0, 6-2. Miss BJur-stedt BJur-stedt and Irvlns Wright won the mixed doubles match by defeating Miss Florence Batlin and W. T. Hilden II, 10-12 6-1 6-3. ' ' Forest Hills, N. Y., June 24. Robert L Murray upheld the tennis championship or the Pacific coast when he defeated N W. Niles of Boston in the final round of the national patriotic singles, 5-7, S-6 6-3, G-3. ' Boston, Aug. 1 8. Frederick B. Alexander Alex-ander and Harold Throckmorton of New ork won the final match of the national patriotic doubles championship by defeating defeat-ing Irving C. Wright and H. C.
