Show LUMBER COMPANIES GRANT EIGHT HOURS SPOKANE, Wash., -Dec. 23. Despite actton taken by the Western Pine Manufacturing Man-ufacturing association nullifying a decision de-cision reached early in the month to put into effect the eight-hour day, twenty companies, all members of the association, associa-tion, acting as individuals, will make the eight-hour day effective next Tuesday in their plants in eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
