Show MfOFMSflB' ffiEOillSiS Premier Dealer Announces That Shortage Myth Has Been Exploded. Assurances recently given by government govern-ment officials in Washington that the production of gasoline in the .United States promises to be ample for the increased in-creased demands of the government without curtailing the supply of private users, has given a strong stimulus to automobile sales, according to officials of the Utah-Idaho Motor company. The Utah-Idaho Motor company is distributor in this section for the Premier Pre-mier and Mitchell cars, and Manager Cumdiings said yesterday that several praspective purchasers during the last two or three months had decided to postpone buying new cars until this important im-portant question of gasoline supply was definitelv settled. Sow that the question ques-tion is settled to the satisfaction of the motoring public, Mr. Cummings expects 'to consummate a number of sales that have been hanging fire for some time. The Utah-Idaho company conducts one of the largest public garages in the city, and regarding this branch of their business Mr. Cummings said: "At this time last vear we were filled up with cars in 'dead' storage. This year we are storing more ears than ever, but it is all 'live' storage owners are taking full advantage of the wonderful weather we are having and are using their cars every day. But we don't expect this summer weather to last forever, and are fully prepared to keep our garage at the right temperature, no matter how cold it gets. The sound economy of using our steam heated garage instead of going go-ing to the trouble and expense of keeping keep-ing their own garages heated, or taking chances of freezing their cars, is becoming be-coming apparent to a large number of car owners. We have space left for a few more cars, but with the first cold snap "we expect our storage facilities to be entirelv sold out." |
