One of the features that is a big contributor con-tributor to the popularity of the new Buiek light delivery car is its serviceability service-ability in all kinds of weather. According to Salesmanager Earl Smith of the Bandall-Dodd Auto company, com-pany, local Buick distributors, the new Buiclt light delivery car is really in the "winter top class" being designed with a very serviceable and quickly adjusted storm toil, which he describes as follows: fol-lows: "In stormy weather," says Smith, "the body can be quickly made waterproof. The side curtains of the canopy top extend forward to the front of the driver's seat so that the front curtains need be only used in extremely stormy weather. The side curtains come down over the flare board. The front curtains are easily put in place when needed and are fastened entirely from the inside. The back curtain drops into place like the side curtains and is securely se-curely fastened in the same manner, by means of eyelats, screw eyes and leather straps. All curtains are 'held so snugly that the danger of tearing is reduced to a minimum. The windshield is extra wide and of the slanting type. The driver's seat is fitted with upholstered cushions, built over a strong spring frame. ' ' |
