Show BILL WOULD HELP DITCH EMPLOYEES Special to The Tribune. , P0CATF:LL.0, Idaho, Dec. 20. At the reoue3t of a number of Idaho irrigation projects, Congressman Addison Smith has introduced a bill permitting entry of five-acre five-acre tracts by dilch riders and other employees connected with the management manage-ment of canals and reservoirs. It is pointed out that the proposed law is intended to meet the difficulties canal companies have encountered in securing permanent building sites along their rights of way in unsettled districts. The fact that the companies have been able to secure only temporary leases has prevented their building the substantial homes for employees that it is claimed will be erected in the event of the passage of this bill. |
