Vincent, head of the Rockefeller foundation, to the assembly as-sembly of I'tah teachers. Dr. Vincent Is far-famed ' for his wonderful lectures. Residents of Salt Lake City have heard him before, and are still discussing his talk. The officers of the Home and School league urge every one who can possibly do so to attend Dr. Vincent's lecture. Milton TT. Welling-, congressman from Utah, was asked by the U. K. A. officials offi-cials to work tliroueh Commissioner of Education P. P. Claxfon to secure a big man for this occasion. After much work, the following wire was received from Congressman Welling: "Have had great difficulty getting proper man for your meeting. The parents of the state are cordially invited to attend these lectures, with the assurance of their practical value. There will be six general sessions in the tabernacle, as follows: January 2 at 10 a. m., 2 p. m. and 7 p. m.; January 3 at 9 a. m.; January 4 at 9 a. m. and 2 p. m. There will be three big departmental meetings on January 3 at 10:30 a. m. as follows: Primary department. Salt Lake theater. Grammar department. Assembly hall. College and high school department, Barratt hall. The same day at 1:30 p. m., eleven section sec-tion meetings will be held at the East high school, and at the same place at 3:15 p. m., nine additional section meetings meet-ings will be held. The Home and School league section will be held Thursday afternoon from 3 :lf to 4:45 in the south studv room, floor B of the East high school. The following will the programme for this section: Song, "Old Glory," words by President Presi-dent George H. Brimhall. music by Professor Pro-fessor C. W. Reid. sung by Murry Roberts: Rob-erts: president s address. Mrs. John R. Stewart; election of officers: address, "The Value of Home and School League Work to Superintendents,'' Superintendent Superinten-dent L. .E. Eggertsen, Provo; address, Dr. George H. Brimhall ; address, "Evo lution of the Motion Picture. ' President Louis Marcus of Notable Feature Film company; address, "Extension Classes," Dr. T. S. Olson. Little Marie Osborne will be featured in "Shadows and Sunshine," with the usual Ditmar animal picture, and a good comedy com-edy cartoon. The visiting parents and teachers are invited by Mrs. John Malick, representing the better pictures committee, commit-tee, to attend this offering.
