A pretty home wedding took place at 4 o'clock Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry P. Barger, when their daughter. Miss Grace A, Barger, became be-came the bride of Paul R. Taber, son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Taber. The words of the ring ceremony were spoken by the Rev. Dr. J. F. Shepherd in the presence of only the immediate families and Miss Fannie Hart and Miss Carmen Cox, intimate friends of the bride. The Barger home was beautifully decorated for the occasion in autumn flowers. The bride was charming in a beautiful and becoming dress of pussy willow taffeta and Georgette crepe and carried a shower bouquet. After the ceremony a three-course three-course luncheon was served. The table appointments were in dainty pink and white, with a large basket of pink and white sweet peas, ferns and ribbon as a centerpiece. Mr. and Mrs. Taber motored to Hansen, where they boarded the train for Salt Lake to spend their honeymoon. The opening meeting of the vear of the Twentieth Century club will be held on Tuesday, September 26, in the Parish hall. Thfs will be an open meeting, to which the ladies of the city and community com-munity are invited. Mrs. John R. Ault has charge of the afternoon and has arranged ar-ranged a short programme. The club wi meet each Tuesday afternoon in the Parish hall. There will be three special departments of the club this year, as follows: fol-lows: The parliamentary department, with Mrs. W. P. Pike as chairman; current cur-rent events, Mrs. Kennedy Packard, chairman; music department, Mrs. J. C. Beatty, chairman. Mrs. C. A. Ernes is president of the club this year.
