Show RAMEY IS CHOSEN TO FILL VACANCY Spe-dul to The Tribune. OGDLX. .Sept. 3. -By the small margin of one vote f'liafles M. Ramey was chosen by the Democratic central committee today as nomiuee for county clerk, the action being taken to fill a vacancy on the ticket caused by the resignation of Lawrence Richards. Mr. Ramey "s opponent for the place was W. S." O'Brien, manager for the Postal Telegraph company in this city. Twenty-nine members of the county central committee were present and Mr. Kamey received fifteen vol es. The central committee meeting, which was he'd in the Democratic headquarters head-quarters on Twenty-fourth street, was presided over by S. S. Smith, ci airman of the committee. In addition to t li e selection of a nominee for county cleric, ' the committee .-elected a list of ennui- dates for election judges, the lit to lie I used by the county commissi oners in I appoiming judges for the November 7 j election.
