Show SPRY MADE HEAD OF SUGAR COMPANY j . ' Governor of State Is Chosen to the I Presidency of Big New Corporation. Governor William Spry has accepted the presidency of the Montana Sugar company, a concern incorporated here some time ago. according to an announee-! announee-! ment made yesterday from the company's headquarters. The office was tendered to Governor Spry several days ago. The other officers of the company are: George E. Saunders, vice president and general manager; W'lllard R. Smith, secretary, and O. C. Beehe. treasurer. The board of directors includes A. G. Beebe, George A. BnOr, Edward. Byer and Wharton Plumber. Mr. Saunders and Mr. Beebe were among the organizers of the Utah-Oregon Sugar company, which sold its holdings several months ago to the Utah-Idaho S u ear company. The Montana-Utah company is to operate in the vicinity of Hamilton, Mont., where it is reported that contracts for 5100 acres of sugar beets have been closed. It Is understood that some of the directors di-rectors of the company were named for incorporation purposes and will retire later fn favor of the underwriters of the bonds. The ZIon's Savings Bank & Trust company is named as trustee of the bond issue of $.-.00. "'00, which will be offered , to underwriters. j |
