Show ALL-YEAR CAR SHOW IS DRAWING CROWDS Inter-Mountain Motor Car Company's Showing of Kissels Is Praised. A fitting tribute was paid by the worn on of 8alt Lake to the now models of the all-year Kissel Kar at the salesrooms sales-rooms of the J ii tor-Mountain Motor Car company yesterday, the opening day of t lie all-year car show week. Kissel Kis-sel dealers throughout the United States have set aside the week of September Sep-tember 23 to October 1 for the display and demonstration of the new all-year models of tho KisselKar, and the stunning stun-ning gowns and winsome faces of Salt Lake's society favorites, so much in evidence at the local exhibition yesterday, yester-day, speak well for the popularity of the KisselKar throughout the coming winter season. It has been estimated that 80 per cent of the automobile purchases are influenced by women, a fact which, if tntc2 makes the attendance at the KisselKar Kis-selKar show yesterday particularly : "The size, and quality of attend-I attend-I ance at today 's exhibit has far more I than exceeded my expectations, ' ' said j 1 Manager 0. N. Carruthers of the Inter- I Mountain Motor Car company, when m when seen last, night, "and judging j from the enthusiasm displayed on the J H opening dav, the whole show bids fair j 0 to prove a huge success. A full corps jj of salesmen and demonstrators were re- ffl quired throughout the dav to take care p of the visitors and explain the vari- bj ous points of the new models." u The salesrooms of the Inter-Mountain K Motor Car company are especially dec- g orated for the all-year car show, being K done in a most effective treatment oi briliiant-hued autumn foliage, 'forming g an artistic background for the elegant lines of the luxurious cars ou display," 8 Thp salesrooms present, a most inviting ! B dud coy appearance, and no pains have j beMi spared in providing for the com- j 1 fort and entertainment of visitors. i Of the three all-year models, it was i j difficult to determine which received 1 the most admiration the opening day j of the exhibition, the sedan, the coupe, i i or the town car. The latter is one of j the handsomest examples of motoring 3 luxury seen in automobile row. It is j jj upholstered in a soft fawn color broad- ? cloth, has all the little refinements dear to the feminine heart, and every con- venient appointment of the most ex- j j elusive coach. The four-passenger ! coupe is the center of attraction with ; woman drivers and professional and i ; business men who operate their own j j cars. The town car is quickly eouvert- ; '-'pflsfoT summer use into a swagger A'ic- j torla, and the coupe into a nifty road- I ster. ; For the largest, number of people, ! however, the Sodau is the most practi- ; cal. Here is a wide open family tour- ing car in the summer with the conven- j ; tioual one-man top that can be low- ; ered or raised at will, and a completely j j closed carriage for cold or rainy i wrather. I There is nothing left to be desired in design, appearance or workmanship j of the new models in fact, the Kis- -sels have taken several steps forward I in each of these respects since the idea I of an all-year car was originated by ' them two 'years ago. ( The all-year car salon is to continue I tlivouphout the week, and it is sure to I be quite the thing to set aside an hour or two to observe the development of this Kissel idea, that "changed the mo-tniing mo-tniing hn bits of a nation." Manager I l Carrnthrs extends a cordial invitation i fi to the general public to visit the exhi- 1 1 hition, whether the purchase of cars is ! f intended in the near future or not. |
