Jleakin, well known in' Salt Lake as m teachers of elocution and dramatic art, are planning a farewell testimonial to Mr. Meakin prior to his departure for , New York, where he will devote himself to advanced study, with a view to teaching voice upon his return. A preliminary pre-liminary meeting of Mr. Meakin 's friends to form a committee on arrangements ar-rangements will be held in the Hotel ttah next Friday night. ?
