Show PROMINENT CITIZENS PAY LAST TRIBUTE Many Attend the Funeral Service for Charles Lammersdorf, Pioneer Banker and Mining Man, Many prominent citizens of Salt Lake and the state yesterday attended the funeral fu-neral services, held in St. Mary's cathedral, cathe-dral, for Charles Lammersdorf, mining man, banker and merchant, who died last Wednesday at a local hospital at the age of nearly 83 years. Mr. Lammersdorf Lam-mersdorf succumbed to complications following fol-lowing a severe attack of rheumatism. High mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father S. Anzalone, who delivered a brief and impressive eulogy. The Gregorian music was furnished by the male choir of the cathedral. The inter ment was in Cavalry cemetery. The prominence of the citizens who were pallbearers at the funeral services of Mr. Lammersdorf attested the high esteem in which the decedent was held. They were former Senator Thomas Kearns, former Mayor John S. Brans-ford, Brans-ford, H. M. Chamberlain, cashier of Walker Brothers bank ; O. C. Beebe, cashier of Zion 's Savings Bank and Trust company; Professor J. F. Merrill of the University of Utah, and Herman Hill, veteran mining man and for many vears a close friend of M r. Lammersdorf. |
