Show Twentieth Anniversary. i!dr. and Mrs. William B. Booth and Mr. and Mrs. llyrmn E, Boooth threw open their homes on Thursday evening even-ing for the entertainment of the- ;ilfty guests invited to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Booth. Vases of pink and white- carnations were everywhere used in decoration, and with the quantities of smilax and plumosn made the rooms attractive Indeed. Sixty-three- was enjoyed the early port of tho evening, the guests later enjoying a bounteous banquet served from one long table laid In the home of Judge and Mrs. Booth. Va.-s of carnations, plnk-ehaded candelabra and ropes of umllax' made an attractive-looking table. The scores and tallies for th card games were very' unique, each painted with spring flowers arfd attached at-tached to each a tiny cup, saucer, pitcher or teapot of clna. The old-time old-time custom of being remarried was observed. Elder C. Frank Emery oniclallng. and Uttlo Trma Booth acting act-ing as llower girl. Mr. and Mra. Booth were assisted in entertaining their guests by Mrs. H. E. Booth, Miss B. Barkdull, Miss Kate Early and Miss Palma Harllss. |
