Show TAKES AN OPTION ON NEVADA GROUP Upon a group of gold-bearing properties proper-ties recently located by W. R. Smith out of Sodavllle, Nev., an option was yesterday executed in favor of II. H. Mayne of this city, the latter to inaugurate inaugu-rate active development at oneo. Mr. Mayne, who completed his examination of tho group and returned to town on Friday, was not a Httlo astonished at results disclosed in the furnaces, these showing as much as 32.2 per cent copper and 12 ounces silver, with $9 gold, per ton, while the quartz taken from another puncture revealed as much as $20.67 gold, with 10 ounces silver. sil-ver. There were other samplings which told of the presence of copper, gold and silver, and the intention of Mr. Mayne is to Inaugurate active development de-velopment as soon as camp can be established. es-tablished. The group, which consists of four locations, Is about a mllo north of the Contact Copper group, which is now being opened up by Mr. Smith with most encouraging results. |
