Show OFFICIAL CALL FOB, REPUBLICAN STATE CONVENTION. CONVEN-TION. April 8, 1904. TO THE REPUBLICAN ELECTORS OF THE STATE OF UTAH: In accordance with established custom cus-tom and in obedience to instructions of the national Republican committee, the State Republican committee of Utah directs that a State convention of delegated representative.1 of the Republican Re-publican .party bo held at Salt Lake City, Utah, for the purpose of electing six delegates-at-large and six alternate delegates-at-large to the Republican national convention of 1901, and for the transaction of such other business as may properly como before it, and that said State convention shall assemble at 10 o'clock a. m. on Friday, the 6th day of April, 190, in the Salt Lake Theater. The Republican electors of this State, and all other electors, vlthout regard to past political nftillatlons, who bellcvo In the principles of the Republican party and Indorse ts policies, aro cordially Invited to unite under this call in the selection of said delegates and alternates. The said State convention shall consist con-sist of 4C0 delegates, apportioned to the several counties of this State on the basis of one delegate for every nlncty-flve nlncty-flve votes, or a majority fraction thereof, there-of, that were cast for Hon. The respective county committees are requested to call conventions or to otherwise arrange ar-range for the election of delegates to the State convention. The chairmen of the respective county committees will forward to the chairman of the State committee, immediately after their election, a full list of the delegates chosen. Thi Republican national convention is to assemble at Chicago. 111., at 12 o'clock noon, on Tuesday, the 21st day of June. 1904. Delegates tind alternates elected thereto will receive credentials duly flgned and attested' by the chairman chair-man and secretary of the State convention con-vention electing them.
