Show ATHLETIC MEET AT THE FORT THURSDAY Soldier Boys Give a PleaBing Entertainment Enter-tainment in Their Hew Gymnasium. The indoor athletic season at the post ! closed Thursday evening with a very Interesting1 athletic tournament and ball. During l..e evening those present were entertained by some clever work by a number of the post athletes, music by the artillery string band and selections selec-tions by the battery male quartette. The feature of the evening was the barbell and dumbbell exercises by squads selected from the two batteries. The rendition of the exercises gave evidence evi-dence of careful training on the part of the men and the affair was received with applause. The Twenty-second battery bat-tery squad were dressed in blue shirts, white trousers, and wore the artillery red In the shape of silk neckties. They made a hlg hit and were compelled to repeat their performances. To Corporal Barrlcman, Twenty-second battery field artillery, belongs tho credit for the success of the entertainment. entertain-ment. Barrlcman ha3 been the Instructor Instruc-tor in athletics at the post and he has labored diligently to make the tournament tourna-ment a success.
