Show - :4 ft: y-m !' . . " .;. Richard Adams Richard Adams dies in Roosevelt Richard James "Dick" Adams, age 76, of Roosevelt died March 5, 1982 at home of a heart attack. He was born Jan. 4, 1906 in Provo to William George and Katherine Ann Cooper Adams. He married Florence Labium Dec. 24, 1928 in Ballard and later solemnized the marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death Oct. 9, 1978. He married Ramona Davis Sept. 20, 1979 in Bennett. Mr. Adams owned and operated the Ford Agency in Roosevelt from 1936 to 1955 and an Army-Navy store from 1956 to 1969. Services were held Monday, March 8 at the Roosevelt LDS Stake Center with burial in Roosevelt Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Ramona of Roosevelt, a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Bonnie ReeNee) Snyder, Vernal; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; stepchildren, Ber-nadine Ber-nadine Merrell, Edna Meryhew, Winifred MacKay, Lenora Knox and Kenneth "Gordie" Aumiller; 26 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren; grand-children; sisters, Phyllis Jensen and Mary Ellen "Nell" Horrocks, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Cloy (Ila) Allred, Vernal. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Labrum and Cora Richardson. |
