Show Christine Halterman Recites Vows with lames Clark Robinson In wedding rites which were solemnized last Friday in the St. George LDS Temple, MIfs Kris-tine Kris-tine Halterman and James Clark Robinson were united in mar-raige. mar-raige. Temple President Harold S. Snow officiated in the ceremony. cere-mony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle O. Halterman and Mr. and Mrs. D Robinson are parents of the bridegroom, all of Parowan. Following the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Robinson hosted a wedding breakfast at the Sugar Loaf Cafe in St. George. The newlyweds were honored at a reception Friday evening in the Parowan Third Ward recreation recrea-tion hall. For the occasion the bride wore a gown of peau de sol detailed I with lace appliques and hand-rolled hand-rolled roses. Attending the bride were her sister, Miss Lyli Joy Halterman. maid of honor; Miss Annette Halterman, Hal-terman, another sister; Miss Ger-al Ger-al line Stubbs, Mrs. Robert L. Morgan. Miss Linda Rae Dalton, Miss Dianne Hulet and Miss Linda Lin-da Rollins 83 bridesmaids. They were dressed In red wool sheaths and carried white fur muffs with nosegays of holly. Mary Jayne Halterman, a sister, sis-ter, and Patricia Williams, were flower girls. Jerry D. Robinson stood as best man for his brother, and Norman and Kenneth Kobinson. also brothers bro-thers were ushers. A short program was held during dur-ing the evening with Gaylord Whitney, uncle of the bride, as master of ceremonies. Numbers Included a vocal trio by Ramona Stubbs, Elna Stubbs and Shirley Evans, accompanied by Itha Mor-tensen; Mor-tensen; a vocal solo by Verl Taylor Tay-lor with Ramona Stubbs accompanying, accom-panying, a vocal duet by Jerry D Robinson and Phebe Bergstrom, accompanying themselves on electric guitars; readings by Karl O. Mitchell and Virginia Mercer, and a piano solo by Mrs. Deon Williams, sister of the bridegroom. bride-groom. Prenuptial hostesses were Miss Geraldine Stubbs. Miss Linda Rollins and Miss Linda Rae Dalton. Dal-ton. The bride has attended Col lege of Southern Utah and was Miss Iron County for 1961. Mr. Robinson is a student at Utah State University, where he is managing editor of the school paper. "Student Life." Following a hopenymoon in Lss Vegas. Nev. the couple will live in Logan where they will continue their studies at USU. Organ music was furnished during the evening by Mrs. Orna Johnson. |
