Show Funeral Services Held For "Lall" Smith, Injury Causes Death Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Third ward chapel Sat-1 urday afternoon by Bishop A. I". Whatcott, for Mrs. Alice "Lall" i Smith, 82, lifelong resident of Cedar Ce-dar City, who died March 19. Death was caused by complications complica-tions from injuries suffered in a fall two weeks earlier. Speakers at the services were Warren Bulloch and Garth Sher-rait, Sher-rait, with brief remarks given by Bishop Whatcott. Invocation was by Gibson Cowan, benediction by Furl Porter and the dedicatory prayer by Samuel F. Leigh. Organ music fi the services was by Mrs. Reed Roberts, with j the musical program including ai vocal solo, "The Lord's Prayer", by Gary Smith, grandson of the deceased, accompanied by Miss Kristine Corry; a vocal duct, "My Father Knows", by Myles Walker and Ray Cosslett, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh, and a vocal duet, "In The' Garden", by Mr. and Mrs. Howard V'rod, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Roberts. Burial was made in the Cedar City cemetery under the direction direc-tion of the Southern Utah mortuary |
