Show Ernest Leigh Webster Funeral Services Held Wed. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed at the Southern Utah mortuary mor-tuary Wednesday morning for Ernest Leigh Weoster, 40, former Cedar City resident, who died in Seattle, Wash., Friday. Burial was made in the Cedar City-cemetery City-cemetery following the services. Mr. Webster was born in Cedar City on May 10, 1912, a son of Frank and Abbie Leigh Webster, and made his home here until about 12 years ago, when he moved to the Northwest, spending spend-ing most of the time in Washington Wash-ington in and around Seattle. He was a popular athlete in j Cedar City during his youth, and worked as a welder for sometime before leaving to accept employment employ-ment in the North.vest. He is survived by two sister, Mrs. Alice Knight, Cedar City, and Mrs. Belle Robertson, Ontario. Ontar-io. Calif. The funeral services were con-; ducted by Bishop Parson U. Webster Web-ster of the Cedar First ward, with Samuel F. Leigh as the speaker. Invocation was by Clifford benediction by Myles Walker, and the dedicatory prayer by Bishop Webster. Two vocal duets. "He Hideth My Soul", and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul" were sung by Myles Walker and Ray Cosslett, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh. |
