Show Frank Matheson, Active Civic Worker dies; i Honored at Services i rr"l j Frank (Paint) Anderson I Matheson, 80 at 152 West I College Ave., Cedar City j died July. 16, 1979 at his home. He was born May 16, i 1899 in Parowan, Utah to I ' Simon Anderson and Susan Gurr Matheson. On ? 1 February 16, 1935 in Cedar City he married Erma Perry. He was a member of the LDS Church, Lions, Kiwanis and also a member of the Cedar City Elks Lodge BPOE 1556 for 49 years. He was a retired manager for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. from 1915-1963. In the 35 years of work he was manager of the Parowan, Kanab, Panguitch and Nephi areas. Survivors include his wife Erma of Cedar City; two daughters: Mrs. Don (Beverly) Ford of Upland, Calif, and Mrs. Glade (Gloria) Smith of Parowan; 8 grandchildren, 11 grandchildren grand-children and one sister Florence Houston of Panguitch. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 19 at 11 a.m. in the Cedar 2nd LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Donald Marchant officiating. of-ficiating. Friends may call at the Boyer Soutehrn Utah FPANK MATHESON Mortuary Wed. evening from 7-9 and Thur. from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be conducted by the Cedar City Elks Lodge BPOE 1556. Interment in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
