Show 4-Hers-Leaders enjoy Summer Camp Two hundred forty six 4-H'ers 4-H'ers and leaders enjoyed 4-H 4-H Camp activities July 9th and 10th at Deer Haven Camp Ground. This included 4-H'ers 8-11 years of age. Songs were lead by Stephanie Sharp. Program chairman were Annette Nelson and Klea Shurtz. Flag Raising Ceremony was done by members of Frankie Callison's group. Recreation chairman was Lesley Clason. Other chairmen were: Handicraft - Lorraine Cornelius and LaDawn Williams; Camp Medic -Donna Heath; Dutch Oven -Barbara Shakespeare and Irene Tebbs; Clean Camp -Lori Morrell and Joye Hahne; Camp Identification Leah Michie; Personal Identification Beverly Lowder; Lummi Stick -Carol Fife; Rock Painting -Sue Esplin; Log Sawing -Mickie Evans; Can-dlelighting Can-dlelighting - Janet Lee and Avey Davis; Chief of Police -Boyd Esplin; Art Judging -Corinne Williams. Camp Identification winners were: 1st - Munchin Lunchers; 2nd - 6 Happy Hemmers; 3rd Campbell Kids; 3rd tied - 6 Snickering Stitchers ; ' Honorable Mention - Tiger Lillies, Darling Diaper Dumpers, 6 Silly Sifters, Creative Cooks, Gourmet Cooks, Coconut Critters. Skit winners were: Six Chocolate Chips and 6 Snickering Stitchers tied for first place; 2nd place -Souped up Minnie Cooks, Tied for 3rd place - Darling Diaper Dumpers and Four Food Fighters; Honorable Mention - Munchin Lunchers, Lun-chers, Cool Cooks. Personal Identification: Five Friendly Fruiters, Cheerful Chefs, Six Snickering Stitchers, 6 Happy Hemmers, Coconut Critters, Munchin Lunchers, Honorable Mention - Incredible In-credible Edible Egg, Fantastic Fryers, Gourmet Cooks. Dutch Oven Winners tied for first place were the Six Slick Stitchers and Munchin Lunchers, Tied for 2nd, Six Chocolate Chips and Happy Hemmers, Tied for 3rd Giggling Gourmets and Tigber Lillies, Honorable Mention - Good Cookies, Kooky, Kooking Clowns. The 4-H camp was under the direction of USU Extension Ex-tension Agents Lynn J. Esplin and Marva W. Esplin.
